زندگی معنوی یک نبرد است جنگ در بزرگترین مقیاس است.
نیروها و قدرتهای شر نابود خواهند شد. زره برای کمک به ما در مبارزه از پدر عزیزمان در بهشت به ما داده شده است. فعالسازی زره خدا به ما کمک میکند و با فعال کردنش از ما محافظت کامل میکند. این فعالسازی ها به گونه ای به ذهن ما کمک میکند که ما را به روح خدا می چسباند و به ما قدرت می دهد و قلمرو روح بر قلمرو طبیعی تاثیر می گذارد. با فعال کردن کل زره خدا ما موارد زیر را فعال خواهیم کرد (حقیقت درستی انجیل صلح – ایمان ، رستگاری – کلام خدا، دعا )
به طوری که ما به خوبی برای مبارزه آماده خواهیم بود. این اجزای زره از ما در برابر حمله دارتهای آتشین بدکاران محافظت میکند. این به ما درک قوی از حقیقت خواهد داد که بفهمیم شرارت هرگز خوشبختی نبوده است، حقیقت یعنی ما می دانیم چه چیزی درست است و چه چیزی نادرست انصاف یعنی درک اعمال صالح و اعمال ناروا شروران نه حقیقت را بلکه به شما دروغ خواهند گفت تا شما را به بیراهه بکشانند.بخشی از زره ما انجیل صلح است، صلح مخالف جنگ است. اما صلح معانی زیادی دارد. اگر برای نبرد با شر آماده باشیم.
می توانیم آرامشی در قلبمان داشته باشیم. اگر تمام زره خدا را بدرستی بر تن داشته باشیم باعث آرامش ما خواهد شد. این فعالسازی نه تنها از ما در مبارزه با شرارت محافظت می کند بلکه باعث ارتقاء ما نیز خواهد شد در تمرین کردن صلح در نتیجه فعالیت ها ایمان ما افزایش پیدا می کند و به ما قدرت زیادی می دهد. نیرویی که شروران هرگز ندیده اند و نمی شناسند. دعا تکه ای از زره نیست بلکه به عنوان یک فضیلت داده می شود که در مبارزه با نیروهای شیطانی ضروری است.
